Saturday Canoe

We took a short canoe trip to where a former logging rail crossing had deteriorated and fallen into the river although, not totally blocking passage further down the river. A slightly windy day and, a bit chilly, made it slow going at times as the wind was pushing us in the wrong direction when we canoed into a wide open area such as the lake. Obviously, a beautiful location, and very quiet with only the wind, water and, birds ringing in the ears.
