Delicious oxide colour

This soil is part of my creative art resources used in a number of different ways. After my next opening in April, 2012 in Galerie Schuster Miami, I'll begin working on my next series of drawings with a more figurative flavor than I've used in a while. I love the colour of this stuff.

(Note: Over the past couple weeks it has been brought to my attention that more photographic documentation needs to be shown as evidence of my walking. Mostly the images are a combination of places and the various flora there. The many bodies of water (land of 10,000 lakes) are also wrought with notions of travel, migration. These places have held me in awe, even as I delight in their presence. These places nourish my soul.)

More Minnesota logging trail, an unplanned side trip. I normally don't think of what I do as landscape photography, but sometimes that is exactly what it is.
