Donations - Investments

If you believe positive change in the cultural arena requires novel means, Art3st - Onajide Shabaka - may be for you.

With the end of most artist funding opportunities many worthy projects have been without needed funding to allow them to be completed. This could include production costs, transportation, per diem, or a variety of issues.

Take specifically, "Burial Shrine Project." This creative art is not originated by myself but, by those honouring the deceased. Because humanities funding goes only to institutions or scholars with doctoral degrees, my chances of humanities funding is very low.

The "Burial Shrine Project" is one that has been recognized as important by scholars from Yale and Harvard Universities, as well as other Africanist scholars. The resultant document is to be an eBook and all investments specifying the "Burial Shrine Project" will receive copies.

Other funding opportunities include ongoing art projects along the St. Lucie River. To the right are images available with investments of the St. Lucie River project or other projects.

All investments are gladly accepted, whether they be for $5 or $50,000. You can earmark your investment any way you like--for one project, all projects, or any set of projects of your choosing.

Here are some reasons we believe you should consider investing in Art Thirst Projects - Onajide Shabaka:

Though most may chose to remain anonymous (which is completely respected), you can choose not to. Being associated with a project you consider worthwhile can bring a great deal of satisfaction--of a type that is not available elsewhere at any price.

Your money will go a long way. Typically, anything from $1,000 and up suffices to fund a large project. Even much smaller projects under my aegis should be exhibited and covered in the media with your investment recognized in all print and media materials.

You can get more mileage for your contribution. You can see your contribution immediately on a projects list, and you can see the results in the news. A thorough clipping service is maintained, and hard copies of the articles about your project(s) are sent to you when they come out; they will also be available for all to see on this site.

An investment in Art3st projects, Onajide Shabaka, is an investment in culture. In all matters, when you send funds you are an investor in Art3st, Onajide shabaka, (with cultural dividends and rewards).

You have control of your contribution long after you have made it. You may move your contribution from project to project as many times as you like. You can specify exactly how your investment be used. (Most other organizations only permit this when the invested sums are quite large.) You can earmark a sum for one project, for a set of projects.

An investment in Art3st projects, Onajide Shabaka, is an investment in art. By associating yourself with a project--should you choose to--you will make known your tastes, which is in large part what collecting art is about.

Like a patron commissioning a work of art, you will have the satisfaction of seeing ideas you like made manifest--because of your help.

In exchange for your generous investment you will receive one of the original photographic prints to the right. Each 11x14 print will be signed by the artist and mailed to you by insured carrier.
