Dr. Edward Petuch let me take photos of his fossils a few years ago and I took almost all of them as RAW or TIFF files. TIFF files are very large so my storage disk kept filling up. Even though I wasn’t working much with RAW files I did have enough sense to capture in RAW because today, I’ve remade a few images that are far superior to any that I originally made.
